Fishing is permitted in the area from the end of the Pinegger Klamm (waterfall) to the Erzherzog-Johann-Klause. Brown trout and rainbow trout are present. Fishing only with simple barbless hooks of class 1 - 4, twin and treble hooks are forbidden! Fishing in the Kaiserklamm from the Triftsteig is forbidden! Up to 3 fish may be caught (rainbow trout minimum size 30 cm, brown trout minimum size 28 cm). When actively fishing, only 1 rod per daily license may be used in the fishing waters. What you need: Daily license Photo ID Tyrolean fishing license or guest fishing license Measuring device (e.g.: tape measure) Disgorging pliers Fish killer The cost for a daily permit is € 35.00. The permit is valid from 07:00 to 19:00. 3-day and 7-day permits are also available. Guest fishing license: If you do not have a Tyrolean fishing license, you need a guest fishing license. This is sufficient if you only want a daily license and is valid for 14 days throughout Tyrol. You can purchase the guest fishing license from the operator or at the issuing office. To obtain this, you must be at least 14 years old and be able to present a professional fishing qualification/a certificate of a fishing examination/an expired Tyrolean fishing license/a fishing license from another federal state/a fishing license from another country/or a certificate of instruction.
