The Altes Jöchlhaus in Madseit, Tux, is one of the oldest farmhouses in North Tyrol, at around 600 years old. It has been continuously inhabited to this day, thus preserving its unique atmosphere. A table made of thousand-year-old larch wood, a crackling hearth fire, and stories reaching back into the distant past – these are the ingredients for an unforgettable experience: The "Sagenstunde" (legend hour) in the rustic kitchen of the Old House will take place again as soon as society returns to normality. The focus is on alpine legendary figures and the most beautiful motifs from old traditions – exciting, mystical, captivating. For adults and children aged 6 and over. "The Crystals of the Stone Age Hunters" - Exhibition with guided tour. Around 10,000-year-old weapons and tools made of rock crystal, found at the foot of the Olperer, are presented. In addition, one learns a lot about the history of the house and its inhabitants.
