Alte Traunbrücke

The Traunbrücke was built in 1901 by the bridge construction company Ignaz Gridl from Vienna as a steel framework with two large arches and truss work made of vertical bars in simple Secessionist forms. The bridge is supported by bridgeheads clad with granite ashlar and mighty central pillars. It connects the municipal areas of Thalheim and Wels.
