The water is crystal clear and has a slightly dark blue color. That is why Lake Altaussee is also called the "dark blue inkwell". A gravel panoramic path with a length of approximately seven kilometers leads around the lake. The view of the Dachstein, as well as the different perspectives of Loser, Trisselwand, Tressenstein and Sandling will inspire.
