The sunny cross-country ski trails between Teichalm and Sommeralm in the Almenland Nature Park are very popular cross-country skiing routes in Styria. In addition to expansive views over the region, they also offer excellent accessibility: It only takes one hour from the provincial capital Graz to reach this white winter paradise. To the webcam on the Teichalm A total of 21 kilometers offer classic cross-country skiing and skating. Of these, 18 kilometers are classified as easy, the remaining 3 kilometers have a medium difficulty. There are several different trail entrances. Equipment rental from the Reisinger Snow Sports School is located directly at Teichalmsee. The two trails are divided into: Sommeralm trail (skating & classic, circular route with approx. 16 km) Hochmoor trail (skating & classic, circular route with approx. 5 km, snowmaking available) For cross-country skiing beginners, there is also the option of taking private lessons at the Reisinger Snow Sports School on site. This versatile sport can be learned personally and individually. And with excellent cuisine in the immediate vicinity, even the most beautiful cross-country skiing day ends successfully. The Almenland trails have difficulty levels from easy to medium. They are double classic groomed, and additionally provided with a skating track. The altitude in the Almenland Nature Park is between 1,170 m and 1,300 m. The region has been awarded the Styrian Cross-Country Ski Trail Quality Seal. Equipment rental is available at the Teichalmlifte. Free parking is available directly at Teichalmsee. From the first overnight stay in Fladnitz (Monday-Friday, excluding holiday periods and public holidays), cross-country skiing and downhill skiing are free for guests. Children up to 16 years can also use the trails free of charge.
