Aktuelles Rathaus

The current town hall dates back to the 16th century. The exact year of its construction is unknown. The central building suggests that Italian master builders were active here or at least influenced the design. It is definitely a Renaissance building. Above the town hall clock, a colored depiction of the Austrian double-headed eagle is affixed, with the Austrian Bindenschild and the coat of arms of Upper Austria on both sides of the clock, and below it is the "Eye of God".
